Recorded that quickly while my oven was warming up. I realized afterwards that I forgot to mention that you obviously need to set key-frames for your values. But I'm sure you already figured that out.

My apologies for sounding a little out of it.

Re: Zooming in while keeping quality?

There is no such thing as zooming or up-scaling while maintaining "quality". It's a matter of picking and choosing your scenes carefully and not zooming in too much. In a lot of cases people transition from 1 shot into another during the zoom. This obviously only works if you have both a wide and cl...

Re: Ask Brad an After Effects Question!

If I have some time to spare I'll see if I can whip something up using fractal noise. I'm using CS5.5 myself atm but as long as you're using CS3 or up it should be exactly the same.

Re: Ask Brad an After Effects Question!

Irridian if you're still having a hard time I wouldn't mind tossing something together. Your best bet for that exact look is using gray scaled ink swell elements [ink drops in water] that you can use then use as track-mattes. But again if you want I can toss something together with both fractal nois...

Equalizer what software are you using? It will help us explain and someone might even record a quick tutorial for the software package you're using.

Re: Tracking Motion During a Mask to achieve smoothness?

Vegas does not have a camera tracker natively and I'm not aware of any third party ones that would work well. What you're wanting to do is more in the AE realm. If you do not have access to a package that does have a camera tracker and the scene isn't too long or complicated I'm willing to fix the s...

Re: Ask Brad an After Effects Question!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fxP4wKCAv4 I covered the basics of it in a quick offshoot tut I did for someone else a few months back. Main difference is that you'd be working with multiple layers and opacity's of it. And instead of sticking with static brushes you'd use something like fractal nois...
