Compressing to .mp4?
I think I searched everywhere I could search (on this website, at least) and I cannot find a thread/guide on how to do this. Is there one?

Thanks all for the reply. Since I have no idea how to edit with .avs scripts, I'll just have to stick with Xvid or lagarith if it's a small series. I do have enough hard drive space for one to two lossless 13/14 episode series, but for my current CCS project, I guess it will have to be crappy. :D .....

Yay, many replies that cleared many things up. So this is what I got so far: 1) If you're planning on using lossless codecs, then you're going to need way too much hard disk space, period. 2) Plan first and convert a little bit at a time. So that's pretty much all I needed to know. I am planning rig...

I tried to convert one single episode to uncompressed RGB mode. Tough luck, because I just got a 24 GB episode to edit with... In a regular 13 episode series,...

Aspect Ratio
Hi,
When I save a video with 16:9 settings, the source video is 16:9, in DV-AVI, the output isn't 16:9. Is there a way to solve this problem? If I save it as 3 Mbps wmv, then it is 16:9 with the same exact settings.

A problem with sound
