Never mind; problem solved. I deleted all my existing codecs and reinstalled them.

So I just got a new laptop, and I installed Vegas on it again. I told Vegas the location of all previous video clip files in my projects (external hard drives) so it knows where to get the clips from on the new computer. Anime with "girly" men?
I have an AMV idea, but I need as many anime with "girly" guys as possible. They don't have to be gay, just either weak/ effeminate/ or comic relief.
If they're training to learn how to fight, that's a bonus. Crazy facial expressions are a double bonus.

I went back to try the 1.0 version on my computer and that works fine. I'm not sure why 1.0 works and 1.3 doesn't o_O
