Okay, reinstalling Avisynth fixed the problem, so it's solved for now.
I thought I wasn't supposed to get these crazy problems with Windows 7. >_>

Re: No function called mpeg2source?
A script I used with Avisource() works, even though the mpeg2 one doesn't. I'm thinking this might be a registry thing (I hear Windows does crazy stuff like that sometimes), but I don't know how to identify the problem or fix it if that's what the issue is. Since it's not just Avisynth with the prob...

Re: No function called mpeg2source?
The thing is, Avisynth scripts aren't the only thing that seem to be messed up on my computer right now. For example, my java compiler won't work anymore (I'm just doing noob stuff, so I'm using a guide and have no idea, but stuff that worked the other day isn't working anymore) But it keeps telling...

No function called mpeg2source?
I've been using Virtualdub for a long time and it has worked fine. Today, out of the blue, it decided to give me the error message "Script error: there is no function named mpeg2source" when I try and open my script. I can't figure it out- I have all my plugins installed in the Avisynth plugin direc...

Wedding scene?
I'm looking for examples of anime with wedding scenes. If they're comical in some way, that's a bonus. And it doesn't have to be an actual wedding; if the characters are dressed up in wedding gowns or the like, that works too.

Vegas says all files are offline- and I have the codecs! ><
Basically what the title says. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ffdshow and my lossless codecs, but Vegas keeps saying the files are offline, even though I have HuffyUV and all the right codecs installed on my computer. I've used GSpot to check. I can't figure this out... everything was work...

Re: New computer- all media in my projects "offline"
Okay, now the problem is back again.
And I'm 100% sure I have all the neccesary codecs installed, since I used Gspot. I reinstalled ffdshow and everything. If I have the proper codecs, then why won't Vegas read my .avi files? All of them are "offline."
They're encoded with HuffyUV, if that helps.

Re: Timing issues converting from 23.976 fps to 29.97 fps
It's for a convention submission, so it's going to be converted either way, and I'd rather do it myself.
And I got help elsewhere and solved the problem using TMPGEnc, so I'm good now. :3

Timing issues converting from 23.976 fps to 29.97 fps
I'll keep this short and to the point- every time I convert my AMV (an .avi file compressed with Lagarith Lossless codec and at 23.976 fps progressive) to an mp4 or mpeg2 at NTSC 29.97 fps in zarx264gui or format factory, the timing is off. Not significantly, but just enough to throw off the lip syn...

Re: Video encoded in Zarx264gui comes out all pixely
Thanks for all your help. I'm kind of embarrassed by this, but I figured out that the only problem was that windows media player doesn't like mp4 files ^^;;;; It played fine in another media player.
