Re: These codecs are driving me mad...

I tried updating ffdshow and now my videos are just all "offline" again. Something isn't working correctly. This whole U and V swapping this is confusing because I don't understand it too much. Is there any way to fix that while the clips are still in Vegas? Having to edit with messed up clips and f...

That's not it; nothing is selected.

Here's a screenshot:

Re: These codecs are driving me mad...

Okay, it's working again, except for one problem. Now all my clips in Vegas are tinted blue again. ;_; I have no idea why this is happening. I assume it's the codecs, but the files are normal outside Vegas. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j224/Chaobunny/bluetintedvideo.jpg It's not just the previe...

Re: These codecs are driving me mad...

They're all uninstalled, but that doesnt solve any of my problems, because now I just don't have ANY codecs. What should I install, and from where? =3

These codecs are driving me mad...

My computer occasionally decides to stop recognizing videos even when I have the codecs installed, and today was my lucky day. All day, I've been reinstalling and uninstalling codec packs to try and get Sony Vegas to recognize my videos. For some reason, it's HuffyUV that Vegas doesn't like. I defin...

Re: Really bizarre problem--all clips in Vegas are tinted blue

There's definitely no effect on the layer. It's either a codec or Vegas related problem.

At this rate, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my codecs like 5 times, so I might try reinstalling Vegas. -_-

Really bizarre problem--all clips in Vegas are tinted blue

Okay, I'm not even entirely sure how this problem happened, but for some reason Sony Vegas is now displaying all my clips with a blue tint to them. It's as if one of the screen resolution colors wasn't working, only the colors on my monitor are working fine, and the clips play fine outside Vegas. Bu...

Aspect ratio confusion

So a friend of mine recently told me that my aspect ratios for my AMVs are "wrong," and I'm not sure how to fix the problem. I've been preparing my footage with DVD Decrypter, DGIndex, Avisynth, and Virtualdub for as long as I can remember, but the default settings seem to always set the PAR of the ...

Re: What happened to fun?

Personally, I don't see the point of a hobby if it isn't fun anymore. If it's too much SRS BSNS then it's not really a hobby. :/ It's true that as I've made more and more AMVs, I've begun to spend more time on technical stuff and pay more attention to detail, so my ideas don't just transfer into vid...
