GO TO: Tools > Option > Compatibility

If it doesn't work yet, I suggest you to change the editing software.

What File format are you using? AVI?
If they are AVi files, what type of video stream do they contain?

Huffyuv is NOT yet a stable video codec. It gives me some trouble too with premiere pro. So, if it doesn't work now, it will never work. Just Drop it.
