Nothing beats the original game. I'm still waiting for Squareenix to develop the stones to make a movie out of the original plotline. It could definetely use some finessing, but it's all there just waiting to be a great film.

Berserk may very well be the most amazing manga I have ever read. Out of the countless ways the world could be divided, one could say that there are those who have read Berserk, and those who have not. The latter is an extremely unfortunate and undesirable category.

Yeah, I always liked the earlier parts of the manga before... well, recent events. The whole notion of how Light "escaped" always seemed like a cop-out to me. It never really gets back to the level it was at... but I think it shoul start to get better again in the early 20s, if it keeps staying true...

The X Movie... so bad. TV series was good, movie made me want to kill someone.

according to Anime News Network, Death Note now has a new opening song and ending song. Why, God, why? The themes were perfectly good already. I don't know why anime series in particular seem to change their opening and ending songs so often. The same thing happened with GTO... their first opening ...

Maybe. However the first movie is extremely ambiguous about what happened to her, so it's nice as a viewer to get some sort of closure there. And given Batou's obvious caring for her--maybe even love--I think plot-wise he needed that closure himself. But the open-endedness of the first is what made...
