It's still alive. I'm going to need your help once I get the rounds posted tommorrow. There will be 2 games a week now to make up for lost time. I'm hoping to be in the playoff tournament before the end of Janurary.

Otakon's time frame has always been late April - mid May. That's the way they have to do it if they are going to keep the pre-screenings. Start working on your videos now if you haven't already. Actually last year was a stronger contest. A lot of the bad amv's were cut out of the contest because of not having ftp. I was at the pre screenings and saw all the videos. Most of the vids were pretty good last year. Oh and not to mention it saved a lot of time from going to 2 different screenings ...

I know many cons have judges and fan awards, but Otakon is ALL ABOUT THE FANS! To add in judges awards to please the creators would be wrong. If Otakon is truely about the fans, then it is a fan voted convention. That's how the contest has always been. Right? I know we have seen it happen many times...

Well I think the bands should be stated now. If Otakon wants to avoid pissing off more creators. Tell Otakon that they need to do this. What if you were working on amv right now for Otakon and then they say oh that band is not allowed to be used in our contest. This puts the creator at a disadvantag...

Smaller cons have Romance/ Drama categories. At least I know of a few that do. I think the contest is fine the way it is. However I would recommend maybe doing a set up like this: 1st Romance 2nd Action 3rd Upbeat 4th Drama 5th Comedy Maybe switch it up a little bit in what order the categories are ...

I tried re installing it and it still happened?

I'll try to restarting my computer to an earlier day when I wasn't having this problem.
