I'll have to check out the Hitman bird as well.

Basically, I'm doing an "Early Bird" show at Sakura-Con and I need to come up with a Title Card to show and I need an image for that. Anime seems to be sadly lacking in birdies.

Are there any real iconic bird characters in anime? The three I've thought of are the little chicks that float around Mahormatic's head, Howl when he's in bird form, and the Baba Yaga witch in bird form from Spirited Away. Any others?

I'm sure there's plenty of shots of the girls in the Read Or Die movie and series flipping through books. Can't think of any specific ones, but they spend a LOT of time reading.
