lol. I usually watch anime for entertainment or to escape reality, like how one would read a book.

Yeah, generally with anime, you get hooked into the world to an extent where you forget the hassels and worries of your life...even if only for a little while.

I think the earliest anime i can remember seeing was Sumarui Pizza Cats. Things like that though didnt get me hooked onto anime, but there was just something different about them that attracted you compared to other cartoons. Anyway i guess Dragonball Z is what got me hooked onto anime in general :r...

Unfortunately, it looks like that End of Evangelion is the last installment of the Eva series....despite how disappointing and irratating it was!

I'll have to say Gundam Wing, especially the movie Endless Waltz. I guess because it was the first series i saw (okay its the only series i've seen, but i do plan to watch the others...some day ) and the Gundams do look pretty good
