The manga was translated as DBZ in america, but it was all DB in Japan. And I think it was Toei that named it DBZ, not Viz. I could be wron though.

Heh, some AMV's do that to me too. I'd never have liked certain songs, but then I watch AMVs to them and all of a sudden they just sounds better to me.
