Their emotions and feelings just got progresively more unrealistic as the series went on. I just wasnt able to conect with, or care for any of the characters. In the end I just found it boring and somewhat meaningless. Funny. I felt that way above Eva. Just didn't connect with any of the characters...

The only show I can say I strongly dislike (note, not HATE) is Evangelion.

I just don't see what the fuss is about a show with extremely shallow and annoying characters, almost random nonsensical religious imagery and mecha battle sections that distract from the earlier parts of it.
