I agree. Just knowing people won't get you far if your product sucks to begin with. Sure, knowing people may help get your work out there faster, but if it isn't any good to begin with then who you know still isn't enough.

^^ that message was actually for user 'Artieful' he's a friend of mine and I was typing the post for him ^^ Was accidently signed into my own account instead of his.

I've been trying to upload my video, and I used a client to upload it, and it's not over 100mb, but I get this error on the confirm download page

"directory empty at /usr/local/sbin/Pancake line 150, <FH> line 17."

I find that if I'm not motivated, I just have push myself into editing something. Once I finally start I'll get into it and I'm fine. Ic's and things that make you edit, work good to get me into the mood...
