Okay, here's the issue. I followed the guides on exporting form Premiere Pro and added my audio in VirtualDubMod, set the compression to Lame MP3 at the correct setting on my second pass XviD encode, and the status window still shows (right before encoding) that my audio is still around 35MB in size...

Dosn't FFDshow come with the amvapp? I have the same setup installed and it works fine for me. The other thread also suggested it was a codec in the amvapp but that was on premiere 6.0, not pro 1.5.

The same thing happened to me a while ago... Basically the Divx / Xvid files corrupt the project fiel in premire and you have no choice but to start over. It's a little reminder that you shouldn't use these codecs when making videos. If hard drive space is an issue, make all your cuts in Virtual dub...
