Is there even a filter being applied? I thought they had to sort them into MEP/collab by hand based on the "tracks" criteria.

That's how I've been doing it for the past decade or so, so yea. A lot of stuff is animated at even less than 24fps and just frame-duplicated to even get there.

It usually only matters in that you're not working with (or submiting, or uploading) interlaced or telecined footage. If you have native 30fps footage, then by all means use it. Always ask when you're submitting to contests, though. While most people are just copy & pasting other contest's tech spec...

Am I understanding the rule correctly: there should be no information about the editor/studio/song/anime in the clip (which is the norm online)?
