No, I'm pretty sure Otakon was the end of July again. A week earlier actually. I remember because I couldn't go since it was my aniversary with my (then) gf. Guess what her name was, and guess which AMV she didn't appreciate ~_^

I saw that in the mailing list but haven't had a chance to check it out. Thanks for letting me know, I'll probably try uploading what I have in 2 weeks when I move into my appartment (aka high speed internet) for school.

If you're looking for a cheap card, I'd recommend the ATI TV Wonder PCI card. You can probably get a version of it for about $30.

I guess it's *just* editing but after you go through and conceive it and render it and all, an amv becomes 'yours' because you put so much of yourself in it. Most people have a style that is obvious to see so that shows you put a little piece of yourself in there. To have people steal intellectual ...

Oh I wouldn't mind if it was just footage, but it was multiple scenes at a time, with no editing. ^^; Anyway, my rage is gone now. Now it's just disgust
