i just noticed a bit of a peculiararity cuz i was using the XviD encode part of the A&E guide when i was resaving the .avs file i made. that was the one that would get no smaller than 120mb and whenever i tried to import it into Encore, it would say "abnormal error occur when trying to transcode" :e...

ok...put it thru a few trial & errors.... there is no problem with the frame size which was the original issue... instead i know am wondering if there is a way to preserve the file size... or will it always increase dramatically.... i'm assuming this is b/c of the increased size of the video meaning...

will this work for any sized amv? like 640x480 or 352x240 or some other off the wall size. When its finished, you'll either have a 720x480 .mpg or .avi, whichever you choose. i assume that u can use AVISource(blah blah.avi) for .mpg also or how do u mean??? :? sorry for all the questions buts thats ...

I'm not to sure on the rules for taking someones video and putting it on your own site but I can point in the right direction to become your own HTML wiz.

Adobe Encore /is/ the best. But to get to the right size, try going into Adobe Premiere Pro (I assume you have the best video editing program ever!) and you can resize any video using the "Motion Effect." I am so glad:D i found this post cuz i am trying to do the same thing using Adobe Encore DVD 1.5 The program only allows 720x480 and amvs come in all different shapes and sizes. i used vdub & the resize filter just using common sense but it does stretch the image. N-e-way to get past this little hic...
