i spend a few hours ripping and preping my footage. anywhere from 10-40 hours actually editing which includes tweaking. then a few hours encoding. all that happens over the corse of a day or a few months... depends on the project and what else is going on in life. i believe if you use a couple more video tracks to put each clip on that would help. that way you have clip1 playing continously, then clip2 on separate track, clip3 on another. then u can work the process backwards, fading out clip3 while the other ones are playing....and so forth. i hope this make...
