if it is choppy then are you sure it is actually rendering that section? The biggest problem I have with premiere pro is that it won't always render the whole thing unless i trick it. Unless there is a green bar above that section you haven't made a rendered section. So far I have never had any trou...

well just change the settings to lower values, if it is just a preview you don't need 100% quality. I keep mine around 12

uh....i don't think using those as your preview codecs is a good idea. Those are usually used for exporting before you make your final distro copy. Generally people use codecs like mjpeg for previews...

that is from the lagarith version, the HuffYUV version have magenta/green/a few other colors for the artifacts
