Re: Adobe After Effects - Trimming
I know what it's meant to do, the reason I asked, is I have a friend who does all of their editing in After Effects, and they went away for a while so I couldn't ask them.

Re: Skrillex, don't be hatin' yo XP
He used to be a vocalist, so he does have some talent in what some might call "real" music. He just has a hardcore electronic twist on that. He has some good melodies, and some really upbeat tracks that I listen to when I'm working out. I don't listen to it all the time, but when I need some pump up...

Re: (WIP) Metalheads
My plan for this amv was to make it a kind of action / fun tribute to digimon. I opened it with Digimon : The Movie because i had some nice ideas and footage to open with, and I wanted to transition it to some of the funny scenes from the original Digimon Adventures 1 Series.

(WIP) Metalheads
Looking for some ideas for transitions, and the few moments of dark space in the amv so far. Ignore the masking at 0:17, I'm going to fix that later. Just looking for feedback on how I've done so far, what I should change, what you like, etc. I want to do a compilation of all the original digidestin...

Adobe After Effects - Trimming
In Sony Vegas, there was the trimming feature in which you were able to cut out certain parts of a perhaps very long clip, and only add the parts you wanted into the timeline. Is this possible in After Effects?

Re: Video rendering on Sony Vegas Pro 11
It's best if you render completely lossless, with .avi uncompressed then use a program like zarxgui to encode at a smaller filesize. You never want to use an editing program to try and encode / cut on file size. All you do is lose unnecessary quality.

Re: After Effects Question - How complicated?
I've been working with it all day, figuring out the nooks and crannies. Knowing that makes it all much easier than having a timeline filled with effects and video clips. Thanks!

Re: After Effects Question - How complicated?
Thanks! I watched the tutorial, and the program is a little more familiar. Just to be clear on something; In order to keep the editing organized is what I'm about to suggest possible? You can create compositions, and inside the compositions, you're able to do create all the effects on the clips, do ...

Re: Daybreak
My bad, I wasn't paying attention.
It was late, that's my excuse. Anyway, what I did seemed to sync with many of the major parts. Don't worry, you didn't lose any points.
