Re: Premiere slow, makes it nearly impossible to edit
Ahh, was unaware this was a laptop. Intel currently has a really powerful graphics card out right now, not sure of the name, but it was being compared to the GTX Titan. Read it in a hardware magazine. No hostility intended.

Re: Premiere slow, makes it nearly impossible to edit
LOL you clearly misunderstood. I said "remotely" which clues that it is hardly at all. i7 or not, 2.8GHz isn't that fast nowadays. His graphics chip has nearly 2GB of memory, so it's not that bad at all. And if it didn't help with hardware acceleration, it surely wouldn't make a program slow down gi...

Re: Premiere slow, makes it nearly impossible to edit
Only thing that even looks remotely like it's holding you back is your processor, and even that's pretty good. . . not sure, sorry

Re: Vegas, frames and masks
Ahh, I had this problem before. I noticed that it was when I messed up my project settings and they didn't match the source settings. I fixed it by moving the mask keyframe to the frame before or after and checked whether it fixed the problem. Took about an hour of troubleshooting my keyframes to fi...

Re: Ask Brad an After Effects Question - v2
In light of your recent responses to my question regarding After Effects, I have a question (one that you might be able to make a video of, as it would probably be the most efficient in learning). Could you go through how you often organize your files, workspace, etc? For example, I know that you're...

Re: Adobe After Effects - Trimming
The irony. . . hehe :P (about the notification) Anyway, really appreciate the feedback. I just don't like having to work with more than one program, and if I can learn one, with the features that I'm looking for, and develop a workflow that is functional within that program, why waste time rendering...

Re: Evangelion Sky Fall
Good clip, but I can't help but feel it's missing something. . . it just seems, bland. Wish I could be more specific. It's such a pumped up section of the song, and your sync is really good, clip selection is good, but it's kind of lacking in its impact on the viewer, if that makes sense.

Re: Evangelion Sky Fall
Action and sync was really good.
I enjoyed how it picked up near the middle. Surprisingly fun AMV to watch.
Video quality was nice as well. 4/5!

Re: 1:1 Blind Opinion Exchange
Because of the length of your video, I tried to give pointers on each part that I noticed
Hopefully it's not too confusing.
