This is my second AMV myself, so we're both relatively amateurs. I'll give you an opinion once I watch it.

Re: Second AMV ever complete. Let's do some 1:1s!

Thanks very much for the rate, but there are some parts of your critiques I just want to clarify. You used a low quality mp3 file as source, didn't you? Even on low volume, I hear A LOT of static noises and cracking (I didn't even dare to enhance). You should always ripp your audio files from CD in ...

Second AMV ever complete. Let's do some 1:1s!

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=187833 Alright, my second AMV is complete and it's been submitted to a contest or two. I've only been editing for a few months, but I think this video is a decent improvement over my first one. I think my strong points are sync overall...

Re: The Otakon 2012 Thread: AMV Contest Rules are Live

I'm rendering and uploading now. I'm submitting more than one file type just in case one can't be displayed properly or something. One in mpeg2 like requested, and the second one after being run through Zarx264. *crosses fingers*

Then simply edit my AMV around that. In my humble opinion, this is the most important thing you can do when m...
