Re: Avisynth Use on Intel Macs

I'm terribly sorry, I didn't remember who started this topic and decided not to go back and check, to my humiliation -_- I'll keep you posted on .AVI support as I work... One last thing, at the end of my .AVS I have ConvertToRGB32() or whatever that line is. In VirutalDub when I choose huffyuv as th...

NTSC and Progressive frames

So I'm working on a video, and was going to include some footage from a live-action DVD. I ripped the DVD no problem, and the info in DGIndex looks like this for all frames: http://a.imageshack.us/img837/5164/nobloodyclue.png The video is from a live concert in America, recorded, edited, produced, s...

Re: Avisynth Use on Intel Macs

The problem was that I couldn't use the huffyuv codec on my mac for any program (MPlayer OSX Extended has built-in stuffs, so of course that played it, but that doesn't help with AE). The solution was that in the first post, one of the first things the OP listed was to install Perian. Bingo, problem...

Re: Avisynth Use on Intel Macs

So I've got a problem here, I have huffyuv AVIs from Windows, I put them on my Mac (10.6.4) and quicktime doesn't recognize them, but MPlayer OSX Extended plays them fine. I've tried using both simple stream and MPEG Streamclip to Save As .mov, and although both programs seem to do this fine, neithe...

Re: AE CS4 bad imports

Edit: looking at it now the information given by 'Multimedia Analysis Box' says

Code: Select all

Bits/(Pixel*Frames): 0.158
so not .85 like posted earlier....

Also why can't you edit your posts?

Re: AE CS4 bad imports

Unfortunately I am not using Premiere. I have a really good understanding of After Effects and intend to do all of the AMV in it, without ever touching Premiere, already having the processes figured out logistically/work-flow'd. I tried throwing a quick drop of some footage from After Effects into P...

AE CS4 bad imports

I am trying to use After Effects CS4 on my Macbook Pro to make an AMV and have encountered a problem (I've tried this on my friend's Windows version of CS4 After Effects, and the same exact thing happens): First I import the footage, which is H.264 .mov (mpeg-4 .mov and mpeg II .mov yield the same r...
