Re: amv ideas

Probably better than thinking 'Wow, this is a great anime! I want to make an AMV with it!' and just start editing, it's better to first think of the emotions you want to call forth in the viewer, what aspect of the anime you would like to emphasize, or if you even want to use the anime to tell a who...

Re: Help?

On the other hand it mostly looked like random scenes were thrown in and cut short enough to sync. Yeah, I guess :\ It was done in one day, because his birthday was the next xD The question is whether you want to consider videos as rushed as this one worthy of uploading to the org. In my opinion it...

Re: [WIP] Freedom Project AMV

I know this is very late, but just in case you're interested: Unlike AimoAio I actually feel motivated to watch the source now. What is it, by the way? More importantly what's the original quality of the source? I seemed a bit worse. It could be bad originally - nothing you could do about that, unle...

Re: Help?

When editing with Naruto, you have to do exceptionally well. It has become overused, usually in very low quality videos, and people are prejudiced against it. I admit I considered not watching at all, when I saw the source. I definitely agree with AimoAio on this: Scene at 0:08 kinda dragged on and ...

Maybe next time encode one version for youtube and one for the org?

Are you planning on redoing the video? Just asking. You're getting feedback, but having lost the file...

Re: Project NeoEditor Round 7 Winner: The Grand Fleet

The staff members on the club's committee loved seeing older anime used. A lot of them, myself included, like a little anime history, but most of our members DON'T. xD  I feel like an average viewer now >< . In my opinion the video had REALLY nice storytelling, but was a bit off music. I know t...

File Mounting in Linux?

I'm used to using Pismo File Mounting program in Windows, but as I started editing on Ubuntu, I'm wondering if there's a good equivalent. I've tried running Pismo under Wine, but I seem to be missing the required Windows libraries.

Is there any good equivalent? All I need is to mount .avs files.
