I didn't recognize the winners, and there was no printed list given out. All I know is they showed the top 20 (in no particular order, I think...) and then the winners for Action, Comedy and Drama. Was kind of dissappointed that they didn't recognize the runner ups like last year.

Didn't make it in, but as it was my first try, I didn't expect to. XP I would however -really- like to know which overflow room I will be in. The best part of creation is watching other's reactions to your hard work.

Ooh, I see what you mean. I was wondering if I would confuzzle anyone who wasn't familiar with Rockman. Thanks for the tips. This is only my third AMV, so I have much to learn. @_@

Digital Anguish - Rockman.exe - Pompeii

So, this AMV now has a very long history. @_@ I did the first verse in September of 2004, thinking it a fun short project. Then I did the second verse in March of 2005, so I could enter it into contests. Now I've finalized the last and third verse in July of 2005 - completing this project to its ful...

Ash: Ditto, I like to use obscure ones if I can. :P Though that probably runs against my odds of winning anything in the end. Still fun though. Should probably work with something other than Rockman eventually. But no one else does, so.... :P Gotta spread the love somehow. Curious to know if my vide...

Since A-kon went so badly due to technical issues, I decided to enter as well. :) This looks like a wonderful contest, thank you for all the hard work to the staff. ^_^

I absolutely agree that decent video can be made from downloaded source - if done correctly. I have no pity for those who use realvideo or low quality footage. I try my absolute hardest to at least get the raws, so the video hasn't been compressed by fansubbers, thus retaining the original quality. ...

>_> <_< >_> ....... *replies again* 1. Would you like to see winners in each category? 2. Should the video creators determine their own categorization? 3. Should the videos be shown in categorigal order or mixed together for the fan's choice voting? 1. Yes. A first place winner, and a runner up woul...

I think a good deal of us would like to see actual catagories implemented into the contest. Most cons these days use at least Action, Drama and Comedy, or more. Generally I find that the comedy videos get the most love or fan reaction, so when all the videos are lumped into 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place......
