Besides Windows Movie Maker, what other good software do you recommend that is free?

I know that divx movies don't work too well with wmm, so i want to convert them into something else by using virtualdubmod. but i don't even know how to do it. can somebody please tell me how? thanks

I highly recommend you watch this video. The creator did a really good job of matching the video along with the mood and the emotions of the music. I also loved how he was creative with the effects.

How can I convert it so that the movie clips are usable for editing? I'm currently using Vegas/Windows Movie Maker.

actually i just tried converting the mp3 to a wave file to see if it worked, it didn't, so i took someone's advice by converting it back to .mp3 and weirdly it worked!

Whenever I skip to play a different part of the music, wmm keeps playing the wrong part. An example would be when I click for it to play the part of the music in 2:16, it would show that it's playing at that part, only it isn't and it sounds like it's playing the part in 1:50. :?: I used mp3 file an...

ps: there seems to be a problem with the music as well. whenever i try to play through a certain part of the music in wmm, it plays a different part of it.
