Re: What are you playing?

Hollow Knight. Absolutely incredible game, for anyone who hasn't played it.

I could be wrong but I thought this was a feature, not a bug.

Re: IGNOTUM - Decision Made (Akross Con 2018)

I've watched a few videos very recently that have frustrated me because they felt like they could have been made into something more. I could see people claiming the same of this one, but I walked away from it feeling very much like it ended at exactly the right point. I have no idea what it means o...

I'm not naive enough to think this has a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but:

Re: [AKROSS Con 2018] Okami & LukeG - Bluster

Based on the song and anime choices, I didn't have high hopes going into this but this was much better than I expected. Very slick editing, although there were some awkward parts -- the "Poor boy" text felt really out of place and unnecessary. Overall though, I have to say I enjoyed it!

That would be a pretty epic work haha
Do you know what is the longest AMV right now?
If you exclude MEPs, I think this is the longest one I'm aware of by a single editor.

Re: Zeref and Mavis 11h30 AMV

Disappointed this isn't actually an 11 hour 30 minute long AMV.

Re: Do you want anything from the 4TB AMV HDD?

I'm with Izumi on this, but I believe SQ's current Internet situation would prevent him from realistically uploading the entire drive anywhere. For the record though, I too would hate to see this lost. The future death of the .org (whenever that might happen) has been weighing in the back of my min...

Re: Do you want anything from the 4TB AMV HDD?

Do you know which videos are on the HDD but aren't available on Local? I was under the impression that the Local database hasn't really changed, but I could be wrong. Also, what playlists are on there?

Re: Compiling a knowledge base of "lost" videos

What is this... "Vault"? It was an archive of AMVs that were not available on the .org or anywhere else -- before the .org, and way before YouTube, there was no centralized place for people to store their videos, so editors had to host videos on their own servers (which were more expensive back the...

Re: Compiling a knowledge base of "lost" videos

This sounds a lot like The Vault, which was essentially created to do just that. Although I have no idea who still controls a version of it, if it even exists. I can't recall who last had an active version. Malificus, perhaps? That was Minion who used to control it, and then he took it down, howeve...

Re: OK! - Adventure - Comments and Feedback

This is possibly the first video I've seen that uses this particular style of editing where I didn't want to immediately gouge my eyes out. Usually I can't stand ( can't stand ) this style of editing, but for some reason it just worked better here. Maybe because you actually attempted some sort of s...
