Ooh! Scary Music! Yippee!

I'm surprised that there haven't been any classical music contributions to this yet. Here are some suggestions that you might try working with. The television series "Goosebumps" used Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" as though it were to be spooky (not romantic) to some effect. Another television seri...

Don't forget the harem anime!

There's actually a genre of anime called "harem" anime. One has already been mentioned: "Ah! My Goddess". Others would include "Tenchi" and "Love Hina". Another genre that fits would be the "magical girl" anime. This includes "Sailor Moon" and "Magic Knight Rayearth", of course, but you could includ...

Such is what happens...

You know, I used to like "My Immortal" when the only exposure to it had been a single AMV (<A HREF="">Been Alone</A>, which I still like). Then, when I hear over and over again on the radio, its novelty and meaning take a dram...

World dominating villains, eh?

You could go for any of the villains, particularly <B>Shabranigdo</B> and <B>Rezo</B> from Slayers. Also, you might try the main villain from Eden's Bowy, <B>Rumezavia</B>. You won't get much good footage that could be used as singing, though. As mentioned earlier, any of the 魔法少女 (magical girl) vil...

The search option...

Apparently, someone has just premiered a video to "Oh Yeah" by Yello. It's not downloadable yet, though. It's called <A HREF="">Rei Porno</A> by Yoda2nd_2000. I don't see anything for the other song that you requested. Anyway, make...

Popular Classical Musical Pieces

Someone was looking some time ago regarding finding classical music and not knowing what to look for and the like. I was hoping that I might be able to help in that department, but I wasn't sure which topic I should post this in. I thought that this was probably the best one, so here goes. The All-C...

On a different line...

Actually, my problem tends the be the reverse. I usually come up with a name for my project because I can't tolerate something being unnamed. (I say usually, even though I've only released one video, as that first video went through three production cycles and the second one is named and I haven't e...

The episode you might be looking for...

If I'm not mistaken, the episode that you are looking for would be titled "Rem Saverem", the 17th in the series.

Mahoro no niwatori

I didn't see Steel Angel Kurumi 2 until after I had watched all of Mahoromatic and Mahoromatic 2, so I thought that the little chicks were a rip-off from Mahoromatic. There isn't a lot of chicks footage from Mahoromatic, but it's definitely memorable.

Nyako to Konyako

Eden's Bowy has two prominent characters that are cat-girls and obviously cat-girls: Nyako and her niece, Konyako.

What, no Nadesico?

I know that Martian Successor Nadesico has mecha (Aestevalis) in its opening (and its closing). The original, textless opening and closing are included on the first disc. If you haven't seen the series, I would recommend it.

Nishi no Naka e

I've had an idea to do one for a while. Like the first link listed in the previous reply, I knew that I wanted to do one the moment that I heard the song in the theater. I've been having a lot of trouble with my video-editing software and such, but I've been bugging myself to get back to it soon.

Inferiority complex

Rumiko Takahashi has a couple of guys that are constantly getting into fights because people say they are weak: Ranma and Inu-Yasha. There is even a set of episodes (the first three episodes of the 4th season), where Ranma really is weak due to a moxa-cautery burn Happosai applies to him.

A couple of suggestions...

I know that Richard Wagner's overture to "Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg" was used pretty prominently in Boogiepop Phantom (and I seem to recall it showing up in the first episode of RahXephon). Also, one of the themes of Alexander Borodin's "Prince Igor" shows up pretty prominently in RahXephon. (I...
