I like the art. The stories are vastly different from the ones you find in the states. There's more variety, also. Beyond that, anime seems more free to just go for it when it comes to wierd spastic humor, ie. Excel Saga, Galaxy Angel.
Oh, and don't forget lesbians. Anime ROCKS!!!
