Okay, update-- I got ffvideosource to work properly by saving the new ffms2.dll in a separate folder and calling for it at the beginning of the script, so my problem is solved. I'm still curious to know if anyone knows what's up with DSS, though.

I'm trying to open an MKV in AVS 2.5 using FFVideoSource, and it's introducing strange artifacts like so: http://i44.tinypic.com/4j7xau.png Last night, this wasn't a big problem, I just used DirectShowSource instead and was able to resize and filter with no problem, everything looked fine in the f5 ...

I fixed it on my own-- I'd cropped some pixels off the side, too, and when I resized without doing that, it ended up fine in the end. (And I'm using ffdshow, if anyone else has the same problem.)

--And it is doing the same thing in a higher bitrate encode too, I just reencoded to check. I guess I must have missed that before.

800x368. The ORIGINAL original encode is 1280x720, I cropped letterboxing off the top and bottom and resized in VDubmod.

I have Vegas 6, and it won't allow me to create any more than 4 video tracks. I tried to go through Options and set the default higher, but it snapped back to four. How can I change this?

Thanks, I changed the display color settings and that fixed it.
