Re: Avisynth -> Virtual Dub

High School of the Dead airs with 480 lines of detail so you don't really want to upscale it unless you're going to mix various animes, most of which are already natively HD. Now as for the blocks, there might be 2 reasons you're getting them: You are loading with directshowsource (or dss2, althoug...

Re: Avisynth -> Virtual Dub

How about just convert to avi? Well, I guess I'm trying to remember how I started doing it about 5 years ago. Where I was just cutting clips in virtualdub then arranging them in premiere. I tried exporting it as an AVI(well saving it) through virtual dub and the distortion remained so I guess it ha...

Avisynth -> Virtual Dub

Wasn't sure where to put this, I have been trying to get some Mp4s to run in virtual dub with the avisynth scripts (specifically directshowsource() ) and everytime I run it the video quality when I play it back in virtualdub gets all blocky and begins to drop data. I am aware this is very simple fix...

I can't edit my previous post...

I tried using an MKV to AVI converter just to see the outcome (or the trial of it)

It said "can't open, need proper decoders.
or, your file is corrupt"

I might know where your problem is. Have you tried to insert ' fps ' parameter? I remember that I had this AviSynth version that didn't require fps parameter,but it does requires it now,after I installed AMVApp 3.0. Here,try this if your footage is downloaded : DirectShowSource("C:\Applications\Ani...

Thanks for the advice, I know for a while I had a folder directly under the C:/ drive called AMV (it never got off the ground then, should this time though) but right now I have it all in the C:\ section. the first one renamed ZNK.mkv ZNK.avs (with--- DirectShowSource() KillAudio() ----) Avisynth op...

Instead of adding to more chaos on the board, I'd just like to know why my file (which I believe is this type) will not open in virtualdubmod, I have the avisynth file and have been setting it to DirectShowSource() but I feel like im missing something... I don't put the file extension in the ( ... )...

Not that I know of, oh well maybe there is some sort of security embeded in the file or something, because I seem to have trouble doing ANYTHING with RAW files. gah, so troublesome... I can work with subtitled footage just fine, but RAW footage just doesn't work at all. (I am aware for best results ...
