I know I'm not a Moderator or anything, but can't we all just calm down, take a deep breath and relax? :wink:

Different colour output after compression

I think it has to do with the decoder, but maybe someone can give me a better explanation. Why is it, that when you optimise the colour, brightness, contrast etc. nicely through AVISynth/VirtualDubMod, it just doesn't look the same when you play the compressed file (e.g. XviD) in a player? Windows Movie Maker 2 is MUCH more better than the first one, but you can only get it with Service Pack 2 on Windows XP. I'd wait till you get Windows XP, or you could use another program to make your AMVs...

Parse : not well-formed (invalid token)

I'm getting this error message everytime I try to access my AMV, 'Tranquil & Beauty - Kazemon'. ( http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=63965 ) http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=49659&highlight=invalid+token I did a search on these forums and found this ...

Upload confirmation?

I've uploaded my AMV, and confirmed it with the file size. It tells me to wait 5-10 minutes for it to sync up. There was a link that leads to the progress page for the status of the server sync but it leads to a #404 error. X__x; It's been a few hours now and my local download link hasn't shown up y...

Ah, ok. Thank you.

Sorry to go slightly off-topic, but:

AbsoluteDestiny, I LOVE YOUR 'A&E's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video mk 2' guide! Thanks to both of you! It's really helped me a lot both in terms of inspiration and umm... well it's just great!

That is all. ^^;

Are AMVs allowed with this muci?

I wasn't too sure about this, but are you allowed to create an AMV with music from a video game? Not a proper song like you can get on a single or album, but rather a track from a video game...

Any help would greatly be appreciated. ^^

Perhaps you already uploaded it before? ^^;

To upload your AMV, you have to use an FTP client of some sort. When you click to upload it, it gives you the log-in details I believe.
