Nescaflowne screening at Sakura-Con 2004

Though not specifically amv related, this is in a similar spirit so I thought it would be of interest... There will be a screening of Studio Sokodei 's popular fan parody Nescaflowne at Sakura Con 2004. From the creators Evangelion ReDeath and Fanboy Bebop , Nescaflowne tells the story of Hitmi, an ...

To create crossovers in videos like "Tainted Donuts", I use Photoshop and either Premier or After Effects. Premier and After Effects both recognize the alpha channels and layers of Photoshop images. As such, Premier and After Effects can import a specific layer from a Photoshop image, preserving the...

A lot of third party plugins are available. Most cost at least $500 a pop.

Adobe posts links to a bunch of them on their corporate web site. Here's a direct link to the list:

I like Rahxephon quite a bit. I especially like the ways in which the series uses backgrounds, settings, and character arrangements (blocking?) to create moods and mirror the thoughts and feelings of the characters. I can't comment on the story, though. I've only seen the unsubbed Japanese version a...

I've got through 24.

Accoring to Sasuga Japanese Bookstore, volume 25 is due out in June, 2003.

The manga doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon (I'm not well-informed, though.)

Here's a few I'd add to the list:

X, the motion picture)
Hellsing
Genocyber (I absolutely hated this series. I wouldn't recommend it to
anyone.)
Mermaid Forest.

I wasn't sure how many people use or would use Illustrator, but it wouldn't hurt to add it. And if you used it for "Tainted Donuts", I think a lot of people would be interested. Actually, I started using Illustrator months after finishing Tainted Donuts. Now that I think about it, listing Adobe Ill...

Re: Particle System? and My Best Friend Plank

Oops. That didn't post right. What I meant to say was: What I am trying to accomplish is to use superimposed images in an AMV like characters, objects, etc over a background where all objects are moving indepentently of the others to give a "3D" type effect. But I want to be able to give everything ...
