I have Premiere 6.5. I also have Quicktime Pro 6.5 but it doesn't let me edit them as well.

I would rather work with them as .mov but Premiere doesn't reconize them. It says that its missing video or sound when its not. I would think I have the codecs since I can view them in Quicktime just fine, I just can't edit them.

Converting .mov to .avi

Is there a program or method to convert .mov files to .avi files? When I try to work with the .mov files in Premiere it says the file doesn't have any video or audio so I think it might be because of the format. I would like to conver them to .avi so I can work with them easier.

I know there is Fraps which records what your seeing on your computer when your playing a game into avi format. Is there anything else or anyway to record or output the video from your game so it can be used in a video that isn't a cut scene? I have a ATI AIW 9800 Pro so I thought there was a way to...

Yes I just figured that out after doing some more searching, couldn't find the differences on their website so had to look someplace else. Darn not having a edit button so I could of corrected it... oh well guess I just make a response post :p hehehe
