OK, it's fixed. In the end, I decided to lose the 720p resolution. It's now in 720 x 320 widescreen, which is perfectly fine since the original source wasn't high definition anyway. Although I'm a little annoyed at the end title-- the quality dropped a tad. Oh well...

in that case, let me bring back the comment about how good the quality was. Even so, it'd be nice if you could have subbed over your border. I haven't seen NGE enough to recall what they were talking about there. Misato is just introducing herself to Shinji. I figured any anime fan has seen it? 8-)
