Any ideas?

I really like this series personnally, from first appearances it is a cute fluffy silly anime... but not so much later on. I have never met anyone who has seen a large chunk of this series to hate it... most people get put off by the first few episodes, but it gets very good near the end. Not to men...

Also, look at site recomendations etc, find out what something's about first. It will probably list if its shoujo-ai or shonen-ai given a genre and a bit of information. I dunno, thats what I woudl do if unsure... else look into why things have higher ratings if they do, and if they dont, you havent...

Usually I look for manag and anie I have heard about or have been recomended, with a whole lot of choice out there alot of it gets generic and hard to tell what contains what... I think it heavily depends also on what series it is, some work better in manga form, some in anime...

and btw, which dothack series are you talking about, there are so many and they're all different O_o

I think part fo the problem with it was the fact as film is alot shorter than doing things in episodes and everyone is used to fights that are 10 or so episodes long. Although I quite liked it, well for the most part, esp the jail break scene, I liked that, well done... although the movie was slight...
