While I Did not submit, I attended the finals and was overjoyed and excited to see the AMVs of the winners, celestial was especially exciting to watch on the big screen because I had watched it before when it was originally released. Next year, I will try my luck and submit for sure!

i'm generalizing, but rock and other similar genres typically have lyrics, electronica typically doesn't. that's could be a big reason why, people like editing something where they can sync some to the story of the song.
