Re: Animegraphy 2013

So, you doing one of these for every year? I hope so, because this one was amazing, just like 2012! The motion always seems to fit the songs you choose perfectly! Although, I did think the flow in 2012 was slightly better.

Re: Editor's Block problem (I guess)

Sorry to keep this thread going, but there's another thing that's been annoying me that I'd like to know about. I tried to work on a vent video today. It was meant to be something enjoyable to work on to keep me into editing without any frustrating. however, I ended up having no idea what to do with...

Re: Editor's Block problem (I guess)

Thanks for the advice. I was considering taking a break anyway, but I wanted to know about whether to just quit or not. Thanks very much!

Editor's Block problem (I guess)

OK, first of, sorry if this sounds like me wallowing in my angst or some shit like that. I tried not to make it sound like that, but it may still come as being that way. Sorry if it does. Also, I'm not trying to make out that I'm special or anything because I'm having this problem. Just though I sho...

VirtualDub won't accept avisynth commands

I've been trying to convert some mkv files to usable avi files using this guide http://pixelblended.wordpress.com/amv-101/preparing-source/3-handling-mkv-mp4-files/ However, when I get to the stage were the file must be opened in VirtualDub, I get an error saying that LWLibavVideoSource isn't an avi...

How to repaint a Character

I've started work on a project recently (Although I may not be able to go through with it due to some strange FPS issues), and to make it look as good as possible, I'll need to repaint a character to look entirely different (The same kind of effect as videos such as this http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Motion Interpolation

Hmm. Maybe I'll do a little Ask Brad video on it. Having done the research to find out what that is, if you honestly feel that that would be the best way to address this then I would be extremely grateful. However, making a video like that may be Time Consuming for you, so if it is an inconvenience...

Re: Motion Interpolation

I'm gonna go ahead and assume when you say motion interpolation, you're talking about being able to do good looking slow motion (by adding in in-between frames to non-high-fps footage). Well, the first thing I'd suggest is just using After Effects built-in Pixel Motion frame blending setting. I'll ...

Motion Interpolation

I've been trying to get motion interpolation working for a quick little video I'm making. However, the video (The new Mirror's Edge trailer, I know it's not anime but I figured this would be the best place to ask) Is only at 30fps, and I know 60fps is required to achieve proper motion interpolation....

Re: How to make a Particular Light Flash Effect in Sony Vega

I'm surprised masking didn't work for you, this is my take on the effect. Duplicate layer, mask upper layer which part you want to glow, apply levels "brighten" preset and also play with settings there with keyframes. It probably doesn't look as good as the ones in the AMV because the background fo...
