Anime video for Dieter Schöön

Post by UncleElmer » Sun Jul 27, 2008 7:57 am

Hi Everyone,

I am working with an artist called Dieter Schöön and am trying to find a collaborator to work on videos for his songs. His material can be heard at: www.myspace.com/dieterschoon

If you want more info please feel free to contact me at www.uncle-elmer.com where you can also check some reviews for Dieter's album Lablaza. Material used for the video needs to be copyright cleared.

Thanks & all the best, Carl

That makes perfect sense, but.. what do we use, exactly?
If you hadn't mentioned that I'd assume he has already shot a video and you are looking for editors or something like that, but you did and it just made me wonder..

"traditional" sources on this site will not do then. If your looking for original [motion] graphics and such, then I'd suggest you'd whip out some cash =|

i agree with the above, if this is gonna be some kind of premotional video i dont think that using regular anime would really be approved, amvs are fanmade stuff not made for any profit (other than maybe displaying your skillz at editing) which is why they are "usually" ignored by most companies, but if they began to pop up as advertising for music artists then there might be some crack downs.

Indeed, those of us who do professional editing require that you assume any copyright violations for material used, and you pay us for our services.

While we do our own thing as hobbyists, do not expect us to do free work. If you want professionals, you have to pay for them, even if you locate them through a hobbyist website.
