For all you editors around who just can't grasp technical concepts:

THE SUN IS NOT A FUCKING OVAL!

Neither is the moon you cumguzzling bastard.

What type of cocksucking mongoloid moronic motherfucker does it take to not realize that the big ball of flame in the sky is a god damned circle? I realize some people are just so god awful stupid that they think anime characters are supposed to be stick figures so looking at the characters they never realize they just fucked the aspect ratio harder than Minion fucking a $5 hooker. Besides, some anime has animation so horrible that stick figures is probably an improvement. But how the hell can anyone, even someone so stupid that scientist had to redefine the lowest possible score in an IQ test to accommodate them, not realize that the sun and moon are circles? You only see the damned thing every day of your life. Unless you're one of those pathetic waste of perfectly good cum that lurks in the basement and only comes out once a month to stock up on Cheetos and Mt Dew. In which case screwing up aspect ratios is the least of your pathetic travesties in life and you deserve to be shot in the back of the fucking head just on principle sake. Seriously, there should be a mob running around with shotguns breaking into their home, dragging mr 'basic shapes are beyond my comprehension' out of his moms basement, dump him in the street, and pull the god damned trigger unless he can prove he's spoken to another person face to face within the last 3 months. It's harsh I know, but they gotta go for the good of humanity. Eugenics has gotten a bum rap in the last 70 years.

Anyway, point being, before someone releases yet another proof that the average AMV editor have less talent than furry self insertion fanfic authors they should take a glance at their footage. Is there an astronomical body in the footage? Then make sure the damned thing is a circle you prick. That's right, a circle. You know, round? Not oval. It should be about the shape of that cock ring the doctors removed from your ass after it slipped off daddy's dick.

Also of note, it's pretty damned rare that people's pupils are ovals as well. Unless they're some genetic freak in which case it's doubtful you'd ever see them. Their eyes would probably be so fucked up that they react to light like Lestat at noon in the Sahara. So it's a fairly safe assumption the characters don't have oval eyes. Unless, of course, the show was animated by someone even remotely as stupid as you and lets face it what are the odds there is ANYONE out there as ignorant as you are, much less someone that moronic actually being able to get a job.

personally, I hate dealing with aspect/display ratios.
if you were to make some avisynth/vdub filter that did it for me then I'm sure a lot more videos would have correct par/dar

Check your AR's with manufactured objects like windows, clocks, car wheels, etc.

Actually, the sun and moon, being three-dimensional objects, can't be circles, as circles are only two-dimensional. The sun and the moon are spheres.
