AB2007 listing?

Just a little thing, but myself and some of the other editors participating in AnimeBoston 2007 have noticed that the convention isn't listed in the "participation" section. Is there a reason for this or is it just a minor oversight?

Only those in charge of the con can add them.

I said "can't you", not "aren't you supposed to".

As far as I know, ever since this whole confirmation of contest entries feature was added to the calendar, there's never been anything to stop anyone who wants to from adding contests to the calendar (just as there never was before the feature was added).

It just then becomes your responsibility to make sure all the entries are confirmed or not.

Hell if I know... I never even knew about the calender.

I so rarely venture into all the little side avenues on here, I tend to stick to the main streets. Too much time spent on my cosplays, I guess.

Which, if the coordinators were nice and released a list of all videos entered (and not DQ'ed?), isn't too hard. If they didn't, well.

yea but if they are going to do that they should just enter the contest into the calander too O:

I know Adam will get to adding the contest sooner or later (lord knows we'll nag him at the AMV Dinner abouti t), but this is just one sign of the problem that comes with keeping records of AMV contests. TaranT did a wonderful job with AMV-Contest-Lists.org, but now that he's stopped updating the site, someone (or more than one) has to step up and pick up the slack. Contests are as much a part of the scene's history as anything else, and it's a shame that it looks like we're going to have so much trouble keeping track of things in the future.
