An FFXII fmv ripper (US ver) is finally here!!!

Much thanks to dsfgd from ngemu.com for providing this. This simple application works. It's as simple as that. Just put the dvd into your dvd drive, open the application and click start.
The download comes with 2 different applications. One rips all 39 fmv's. The other one rips a 40th fmv that apparently isn't on the Japanese version.

Anyways, this looks good, it works with my collectors edition. But it figures that I comes out now after I went through all the trouble off getting the FMV's off the JAP version.
And the 40th is nothing special, just a 10 second clip of an in-game cutscene, thats really of no importance.

^^*agrees*
Thanks for pointing that out.
Btw, just in case anyone has problems with the application, and you get a wrong disk error, keep this in mind.
The application was made to run for versions of the game that are exactly 4.066.508.800 Bytes in size. If the file size of your dvd of FFXII doesn't match that, then it just won't work. But don't worry. The author who made this modified fmv extractor *seems* like he'd be willing to make multiple versions of the extractor. The keyword here is "seems". This is the thread I got all this from.

You might have to register first. If your version of FFXII doesn't work, try this:
-make an iso of the game
-use a program called "file splitter" to split the iso into pieces consisting of 5mb in size. You don't have to wait for the program to finish. Just exit out of the program after it creates the first 5mb piece. It should literally take a second for the program to create this at best.
-Take that first 5mb file the program produced and upload it somewhere. (megaupload, rapidshare, sendspace, etc.)
-Give dsfgd the link to it and if your lucky, maybe he'll make a modified version of the application just to extract your version of FFXII. The reason he would need this is because the first 5mb of the iso contains the "main table where the Video data is." So with that information, he'll supposedly have what he needs.
