So. The only 2 females to enter the tournament (well.... not counting Sto) have made it to be the final 2 contestants in the tournament. And not only is it 2 females, but AquaSky is representing America, and Liz is representing Canada, thus making this the International Battle of the Vag! It has been a long and trechorous road, but overall this has been a really fun tournament, and it all boils down to this final match. And it does have some new rules, so here goes.

Source/Audio Selection:

In this round, both editors will be using the same source :-O "But Atom, what if they both don't have the DVD?" Don't worry. They do.

The source for this match will be.............. *drum roll*...

Millennium Actress

That's right. Satoshi Kon's cinematic masterpiece Millennium Actress will be the video source for both AquaSky and Liz! But.. how is the audio going to be chosen?

In this match, each editor is going to go through their music selection and select THREE songs. Primarily, these should be songs that they believe they could make a good Millenium Actress video to. Both editors will privately send me their 3 songs, and I will put them on my web server. Then, 20 minutes before the scheduled match time, I will put all 6 songs into a list, and then roll a virtual dice for each editor that will decide who edits to what song. Thusly, Liz could theoretically get a song that AquaSky picked, and vice versa.

One possible avenue they may decide to pick is to choose a really terrible song and hope that their opponent gets it, but this could also come back to bite them in the ass (since they could get this song as well).

The only other rule change is that they have the option of editing for 2, 3, or now 4 hours! Hopefully they go for the gusto and pick 4 hours so we can see some really quality videos. But, it will be up to them.

Well, that's pretty much it! I'm sure that both AquaSky and Liz understand the rules so this should be a wonderful match :) The match has already been scheduled. It will take place THIS WEDNESDAY, March 8th, 2006 @ 7:00pm EST. The current plan is for the match to end 1 hour into the RDS Radio show that night, so we can talk to each of them and see how it went.

Good luck to both, in the INTERNATIONAL BATTLE OF THE VAG!
