A long time ago, I asked if a mod or something could turn off the option to rate effects to this one video I originally didn't want to have that turned on because the video didn't have any effects. Months later after that someone gave me a five on the effects score, and they still didn't do anything. Now I want to make some non effect videos, but I feel I need to make an effects one instead just to cover up that biased opinion. The mods said it didn't matter because there was a N/A option available so it doesn't get scored, yet someone decided to ignore that and give me a review for it anyways. I'm not bitching because I got a low score, I'm bitching because there shouldn't be a score. I even asked someone else who gave it a high score for it to leave it as N/A and he changed it for me. I don't care if everyone downloaded that video and gave me a ten for effects, I don't want biased ratings on something that does not exist. There's only like one fade in the video and that's it. I still want to get rid of the option to rate the effects for that video. Why cant the mods do anything about that. It's not like I'm trying to cheat some system, I asked them to turn off the review effects option before I even got 1 score for the video. What is the problem here? Is it because you're incapable of fixing it for me, or do you think I'm sorta trying to cheat my scores? I sure as hell don't see the problem in fixing it, but the mods sure as hell do for some reason.

Mods can delete opinions outright but cannot edit them. That would be the main problem we have in changing your opinion scores.

Well thanks for the feedback. But back when I asked before was there a way to fix it so the effects cant get oped? Or is there a way to do that now? I guess not... it's just a bummer.. just if someone makes a mistake and forgets to disable the option to review effects is there anything that can be done? I know there's an N/A feature, don't need to be reminded of that.

The effects category remains unlocked during the first two weeks after making a vid available - whether there are reviews or not, you can still add or remove the effects category. Removing it after you have reviews doesn't change those reviews, it just prevents future reviewers from adding an effect score.

Is there not a way to unlock the 'effects/lip sync' options after they've been locked? If there isn't a way unlock them, maybe some coding can make it so those options are never locked.

If you can unlock the option, there's no reason not to in a case like this. It's not a matter of changing reviews because he first asked before he got *any* reviews. If mods don't have access to that part of the video information, then it would be a matter for the admin. Paizuri's an admin, though, and he can't do it, either? Then we need to stop locking it. If no one can get to it once it's locked, it shouldn't be locked. It should just be put where regular members can't edit it (but still accessible to the mods/admin - like the anime/song used info).

The issue here is the actual individual opinion scores, not the "digital effects" flag. The <i>scores</i> are what Paizuri was saying he can't edit.

The same guy gave me a 1 for audio because he didn't like the music, and I even asked his score to be token away, he even gave me a 1 on sync. I pmed him telling him what I thought about his review and told him I'm mainly concerned about him reviewing my effects, so he changed it up(and even looks like he may have uped the scores recently as well), but he still didn't do the main request I asked of him witch was to put N/A for the effects.

Also I did ask originally before I got any scores for the video if they could disable the effects thing for me. Could maybe this damn asses review just be deleted? And if it's at all possible after if there is a way, could maybe an admin please disable the effects score? Thanks! ^_^

I can toggle that bit in the db for you... however, you'll need to tell me which video. I'm far too lazy (and busy) to figure that part out myself.

Hey x_rex30,

The top and bottom 10% opinion scores are automatically ignored once you get to 5 opinions. This will get rid of junk scores for you without having to do anything.
