Studios???? (Warning! A N00b question X-D)

Hmmmm ok....I have a basic question....What is that studio think that in the "profil" section ask you? It is necessary to have a kind of "clan".What is the realy use of that????

it is not something obbligatory.

A studio is a group of people that do together videos, or simply a group that condivide their footages and their.. Friendship. Some studios are something more "professional" (even if the word is wrong), so I mean a group of several people who go to conventions and contests to show their works. Anyway, I'm quite unexpert too in this argoment sorry ;P

The primary use of "clans" is popularity. "HypeOdermic Studios" is a lot cooler sounding than "Julian Milo" just like NHMK is a lot more awesome than Tim Stair.

Its just a name. If you don't want to start your own group, then just latch onto someone already popular and your halfway there

Though honestly you really need to be invited to join a studio in order for it to be legit. Like when Julian invited me to join HypeOdermic Studios. I was pretty flattered.

Is NHMK really more awesome than Tim Stair though?

I am going to start my own group and call it Koopistudios.

It's a good thing most people don't associate my 3 different "names"... NHMK = Fluxmeister = Tim Stair ?? NO WAY!

Studio names just sound better but some use it to unite a group of editors under one title.

Wired Knight Productions is a hybrid of those two. There are three people under it (though as it stands I'm the only one who committed to editing) and it just has a better ring to it than Sean Thordsen Productions.
