Opinion Form Revision

The overexaggerated "10 = It's on constant loop whenever I'm using my computer" on the opinion submission should be revised to read something like (not exactly, but something along the line of) "10 = Definiately a keeper." That line just always bugged me, because I think most people who submit OPs take that description too literally.

but yeah, i think you're right, i've never given a 10 for re-view even though there are several videos that I always watch whenever i'm watch vids (including two of yours), and i'd consider that to be worth a 10 in re-view.

I agree with both of you.

Yeah , this thread must be moved to the "site suggestions" forums , but we just have to wait for a mod do that.

And in the opinions that I've posted , even for the vids that I've given a 10 on re-vi , i don't watch those vids in a constant loop everytime I'm in my comp

But , if I'm in a mood for watch AMVs , it's obvious that the chances to watch the vids with 10's in re-vi it's bigger.

"10 = Definitely a keeper" wouldn't exactly fit, though, because a keeper doesn't mean you watch it often. There are some really good videos that I can't watch too often (same thing with movies).

I'm not sure it was this way when you suggested it, but now when you hover over '10' it gives a good description: "I loop this video for a while when I watch videos."

If anything I think the opinion form should say somewhere (very easy to see) that opinion scores and whatnot are subject to your own viewing habits. I watch very few AMVs lately and thus if I watch a particular AMV twice in a week, that's easily a 9 or 10 for me in reviewability.

At the same time, I imagine others watch more often (or less) and thus probably grade differently. I myself adjust my scoring appropriately since if I didn't, I'd be giving like 5's in reviewability and pissing people off (I imagine).

Then again, it's really an "opinion" so I guess that's mine and others have their own. It's just a suggestion right?

Flint... the masses don't take time to do that hover stuff. You know they'll only read what's in front them, if they even do that much.

The masses don't read anything. People will make up their own minds as to what 1 and 10 really mean, nothing we tell them will modify that.
