VCA Nominations Vote Update

Hey All,

We are at the halfway point of this year's VCA nominations. Needless to say, we need more voters!! Taking a sneek peek at the top runners, here are some trouble spots:

* Video of the Year has a 4-way tie for for the #3 spot.
* Most Improved Creator has a 5-way tie for the #2 spot.
* Creator of the Year has a 4-way tie for the #4 spot.
* The current #1 Best Sentimental Video has only 9 votes.
* Best First Video needs more votes.
* Best Character Profile needs more votes.

If you have not yet cast votes for these categories, please research and vote for the videos you think are best. Good luck and have fun!!

I've already made my nominations in every category except for Best First Video. I haven't seen any of those videos, but I guess I'll start downloading tonight. Let me burn about 2Gb off and then I'll start.

Hey angelx03,

Yes, but not for public review. Doing so has a high likelyhood of greatly influencing the nomination result. Keeping them secret is key to a fair vote.

also, since this is my first year doing this, is there an absolute date for when this whole contest ends? I may have missed it in the contest rules -_-

List of qualifying videos released: Jan. 17 18, 2004
Video nominations start: Jan. 19, 2004
Video nominations end: Jan. 31, 2004
Final voting begins: Feb. 2, 2004
Final voting ends: Feb. 15, 2004
Runoff Voting Begins (if needed): Feb. 17, 2004
Runoff voting ends (if needed): Feb. 21, 2004
Winners announced: Feb. 23, 2004
Winner shipping in formation received: March 1, 2004
