Need help on extracting Final Fantasy X-2, Xenosaga, etc....
Hi,
Recently I started a new AMV Project called "RPG Masters - Past, Present & Future," the footage I plan to use involves practically any and every RPG series I can get. So far, I've ripped movies from Final Fantasy 7 thru 10, I've ripped Chron Trigger and Chrono Cross, and I've even ripped the Lunar 1 and Lunar 2. But now I have a big problem, I've been trying to figure out how to get the movies off the title mentioned in the subject, plus the .hack games. For those titles, I only succeeded in ripping the openings, but that's it. I'm in a serious jam, could someone help me out please! Thanks!

At least for the games I've mentioned. The .hack games, Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits, Final Fantasy X-2, Xenosaga, and Kingdom Hearts. I'm so-so that KH has a movie ripper, but I haven't found it yet. As for Xenosaga, I have a movie ripper for it, but it only works on the PAL version, not the US release which is in NTSC.

Thanks,
The one Square Realm link I've been to before, but the other I haven't. Also, I dl'ed and tested those programs on the geocities link, and all of them were either didn't work properly, or I get the same response with NTSC to an PAL extractor, "Invalid Disc Size". Some of the PSS tools on there I already have, except for PSS Demux, but when I opened it, all I got was an idle progress bar and nothing else. Just thought I'd let ya know.

Well, I looked onward in the Square Realms posts,
And I found a program that made the ripping of Xenosaga movies much more simpler, a program called Extractor 2.4 from Nova Software, it allows me to scan certain file archives, sort 'em out and extract them. That was how I was able to extract most of Xenosaga's movies. However, to get to the rest of them, I'll have to look into the rocket science that's called Ultra Edit, or hex editing to put it simply. Just thought I'd let people know if they got problems with Xenosaga movies and all. Now I gotta figure out how to extract those movies from the .hack games, and most importantly, Final Fantasy X-2. I'm going back to Square Realms to study it more.
