Jessica Calvello

She's the coolest Anime voice actor ever!! She's done a good amount of Animes, and the voices are always great!! But somehow... her vocal cords are hurt..... This can't be....... SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THAT!!!!

I heard that it was ADVs fault for pushing her too much.... then I heard that it was the Fans fault for pushing ADV too much....... (how the hell do you send Fan Mail to ADV anyways? I went to their web site and I couldn't find an E-mail address for Fan Mail.) What's the real reason? Or is it actually true?

Well, anyways, I just wanted to make a Thread just for her! Even if she can't voice act again or even just for a little bit, we can write a bunch of cool things about her here, and maybe she'll read them someday and feel better knowing that we really do appreciate her for the cool and heartful voice acting that she has done!

I hope ADV puts a Special Feature on a Excel Saga DVD with her... like an interview or something..... even though she might not be able to talk much.....

So, where can her voice be featured in Excel Saga? Is it just the first two volumes?

I thought her voice wasn't damaged permanently, only exhausted from being used to much. Anyways, I hope they get another great voice actor to do Excel.

i have no idea what she's done other than excel, since i dont keep up with VAs unless they show up in more than one series i like...though her excel was perfect. i read that the chords are just strained but if she keeps doing the character theyll be permanently damaged. what else did she do?

...come to think of it i can only remember 6 VAs i like, and i can only name 4 of them, david lucas, john/beau/whatever billingslea, wendee lee, and her...i also remember the guy who did gene starwind and the woman who did kaorus and meyrls voices, but i dont know them by name.

Here's some info on Excel Saga #3!!!

I just found out about this new upcoming release, so I'm very spazzed out about it! YEAH!! I think Jessica Calvello is still in this one!

I guess she's not gonna be in after the 4th DVD...

Of course, the Fans are really gonna push ADV now to make sure that the new Excel dubber is at least as good as Jessica! But does that really seem possible...... Because Jessica's REALLY REALLY INSANELY SUPREMELY GREAT at this and all.....

It would be so COOL if ADV just goes ahead and goes on with another voice actor for Excel, and then once Jessica Calvello's vocal cords are healed, (CAUSE WE WILL ALL HOPE AND PRAY DEEPLY!!) she'll come back and they will make a "Digital Remastered The Glorious and Valiant Supreme Return of Jessica Calvello, The Anime Dubbing Goddess with The Enthusiastic Voice of Passionate Grace and Golden Warmth for the Everlasting Beauty of the voices of the Anime Special Unlimited Edition DVD" for all the Excel Saga episodes she wasn't in. That would be so INSANELY COOL!!!

Last February? That was before Excel Saga then, right? Well, she was still REALLY COOL even then. Ahhh, she's always been cool!! Did you get any pictures or autographs of her or something?
