Best compression for video distribution

Hi, just wondering what you people think is the best video codec to use when distributing a video to the internet (around 30-60mb filesize though)

For best compatibility, MPEG-1. For better quality, DivX/XviD.

DivX or Huffyuv or Mpeg-1 are the best in my mind. Never used Huffyuv, but i hear its good.

Huffyuv is great, i highly recommend using that. Just read the guides to get more detail about the process that needs to be done when using it ...

Huffyuv is for master copies of your video. I don't suggest using it for online distrobution. Xvid or Divx or Mpeg files made from a huffyuv master are good though. Click the link in the post above to learn more about compression and a lot of other things to good a good video.
